The PMC Winter Cycle is a spin event at Fenway Park to raise funds for cancer research and treatment. It is a "spoke in the wheel" of the Pan-Mass Challenge's annual fundraising campaign, with 100 percent of rider-raised dollars going directly to Dana-Farber Cancer Institute.

The 2026 PMC Winter Cycle is January 31, 2026, starting at 8 AM.

You can ride at Fenway Park in one or up to six of the 45-minute sessions led by instructors from Boston-area studios.

Riders will pay a registration fee ($50 for riders) and fundraise to support Dana-Farber Cancer Institute ($500 per session for riders).

The registration fee is $50 for those riding at Fenway Park; all fees are non-refundable. Registration fees help cover event costs and allow 100 percent of rider-raised funds to be donated directly to Dana-Farber Cancer Institute.

Anyone can create a PMC Winter Cycle team! Two people are the minimum number of participants needed to start a team. Team members can be in-person and virtual riders.

There is no additional fundraising commitment for teams. Each team member is responsible for their own fundraising. More information about teams can be found here.

Don’t fear the winter weather! PMC Winter Cycle riders will be inside of the 521 Overlook space at Fenway Park.

There are 200 bikes per session.

PMC Winter Cycle Extreme Riders are those who are riding every session in the 2026 PMC Winter Cycle. Riding a session in the PMC Winter Cycle shows commitment to raising funds for cancer research and treatment, but riding all six sessions shows a commitment that we consider, in the best way possible, extreme.

Bikes are first come, first serve. Please plan on arriving with those who you would like to ride near to ensure you get bikes together.

Riders must be 15 years old by the day of the event.

Wear comfortable workout gear! As part of your registration, you will receive an event t-shirt or tank top (size selected during registration) and event water bottle when you arrive at Fenway Park.

If you would like to wear spin shoes, make sure to bring your own (such as TIEM) as we do not provide spin shoes. PMC Winter Cycle bikes are compatible with SPD cleats and have cages for riders who would prefer to wear sneakers.

Bags are discouraged (other than purses/small backpacks).

Riders should come dressed for how they want to ride. There will not be changing areas.

No, riders must bring their own sneakers or spin shoes with SPD cleats. There are no spin shoes available to rent.

Bikes will have SPD compatible cleats as well as cages for sneakers. We do not provide spin shoes.

No, there are no showers available to PMC Winter Cycle riders at Fenway Park.

Guests are welcome, however, space is limited so we ask that they do not disrupt the session.

All PMC Winter Cycle riders and volunteers are invited to the PMC Winter Cycle After Party at Lansdowne Pub across the street from Fenway Park. The party, which is from 3 to 6 PM on January 31, includes drinks, food, and live music by Beach Nights. All guests must be 21+.

The fundraising commitment $500 per session for riders at Fenway Park. 100 percent of every rider-raised dollar goes directly to cancer research and treatment at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute.
