Online Donations
Search for a rider or team's PMC Winter Cycle Profile Page to donate online. Donate by DAFpay, credit or debit card, Apple Pay, or Google Pay.
Donor Advised Funds
Donor Advised Funds (DAFs) are very effective charitable giving vehicles whereby donors set aside money to be granted to charitable organizations. Initiate a grant from your DAF on our website through DAFpay. Search for a rider or team's PMC Winter Cycle Profile Page to give via your DAF in the fastest and easiest way.
Venmo
Donate by Venmo through a rider or team’s PMC Winter Cycle Profile Page. To donate by Venmo through any smart phone, click the Venmo button to open or download the Venmo app. On desktop, click the Venmo button and point your phone’s camera at the Venmo Flowcode (a type of QR code) to open or download the Venmo app and donate.
Venmo provides the names only (no emails or addresses) to the PMC and its riders.

Facebook Fundraisers
PMC Winter Cycle riders can create Facebook Fundraisers that link directly with their PMC Winter Cycle Profile Page, making it easy to fundraise on Facebook. Donations made to a Facebook Fundraiser created through a rider's PMC Winter Cycle Dashboard will sync to their PMC Winter Cycle fundraising. Donate on Facebook to a rider's Fundraiser.
Checks
Checks can be made out to PMC Winter Cycle, the Pan-Mass Challenge, PMC, Jimmy Fund and/or Dana-Farber Cancer Institute. Checks should include the rider’s name and PMC ID in the memo line.

Matching Gifts

Stocks
When you donate appreciated securities to the PMC Winter Cycle, both the gift amount and charitable deduction are the fair market value of the stock and there is no capital gains tax.
IRA-QCD
Make a tax-free gift to the PMC Winter Cycle directly from your IRA as a Qualified Charitable Distribution.
- You must be age 70 1/2 or older
- $108,000 maximum annual donation
- Download a sample letter to your IRA administrator to request a charitable gift transfer to the PMC.
- When requesting a Qualified Charitable Distribution (QCD), reference the PMC's tax ID 04-2746912.
They also qualify for your Required Minimum Distribution (RMD) which must be taken each year beginning with the year you turn age 73.

MAPFRE
Official Automobile Insurance Provider of the Pan-Mass Challenge
By donating $50 or more to the PMC Winter Cycle or Pan-Mass Challenge, you are eligible for a discount on any new or existing MAPFRE Insurance auto policy in Massachusetts.

Legacy Society
The PMC Legacy Society was created to make sure that the PMC — which has now contributed $1.047 billion towards treatment and research at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute — will continue long into the future. By naming the PMC in your estate plans through a bequest in your will or as a beneficiary on a financial asset — a retirement plan, financial account or insurance policy — you help ensure that future.

License Plates
The Pan-Mass Challenge, 'Share the Road' special plate, features the PMC badge logo along with stacked P and M letters. 'Share the Road' reminds motorists to share the road with all cyclists.
$28 of this initial $40 fee comes back to the PMC. Every two years when you renew your registration, the entire $40 fee will come to the PMC and help ensure 100 percent of every rider-raised dollar goes to Dana-Farber Cancer Institute.
These funds support PMC operations and are not applied to individual riders' fundraising.

Vehicle Donations
Email wintercycle@pmc.org to donate your vehicle through the PMC's vehicle donation program.
Receipts
Receipts are automatically sent to the email address donors provide when making an online donation.
Receipts are automatically sent to donors for check donations over $250 and sent by request to donors for check donations under $250.
